CoD Season 3 Patch Notes Detail Weapon Tuning, Map Changes, And Wingsuit Fix For Warzone

Season 3 goes live in Black Ops 7 and Warzone on April 2, and the latest patch notes reveal all the major changes for Call of Duty's various modes. These adjustments include weapon tuning across various modes, several improvements for Zombies, and a fix for the broken wingsuit controls in Warzone. Endgame also gets a major loadout change and new CR loss rules, as the mode goes free-to-play for a limited time in Season 3. As far as the new content goes, Season 3 of Black Ops 7 and Warzone includes a brand-new battle pass, more maps, and additional game modes. Standard battle royale arrives to Warzone's Avalon map, and Verdansk gets a new major POI added. The Season 3 battle pass introduces over a hundred new cosmetics and items to Call of Duty, including the new Javelin operator, two new guns, additional weapon blueprints, CoD Points, and more. All Season 3 weapons can be found here, including how to unlock them. The Season 3 patch notes for both Black Ops 7 and Warzone can be found below, as shared by Activision. Multiplayer weapon balancing According to the patch notes, the developer wanted Season 3's weapon tuning to focus on improving guns that aren't frequently used. A buff arrives to boost the damage range on both the MPC-25 and the Carbon 57 submachine guns, allowing them to be more competitive with the other guns in their class. Additionally, the Carbon 57 also received small improvements to the gun's aim-down-sight speed, sprint-to-fire speed, and more. Season 2 Reloaded added the powerful Swordfish A1 marksman rifle, but the gun was overpowered in multiplayer, so the developer detailed a nerf to lower the gun's damage range and slow down the aim-down-sight and sprint-to-fire speeds. It will also now require four bullets to kill instead of three. Zombies Paradox Junction map fixes The Season 3 update makes several fixes to last Season's Paradox Junction Zombies map. This addresses an issue where players could previously become stuck in the environment after time-traveling, as well as a bug that caused the player to be in an unplayable space after traveling to a different time period. The update addresses an issue that prevented players from being able to mantle fences and wood railings on the map. Additionally, general stability improvements are made as well as various smaller bug fixes for the map. Zombies Paradox Junction quest step improvements The update provides several fixes and improvements to the map's hidden quest steps. This includes correcting an issue that previously prevented the Tortured Zombie from appearing in the fire tornado, as needed for the step to upgrade the Blundergat Wonder Weapon . It also now prevents the Tortured Zombie from being active if players are trying to Exfil. Improvements are made to the frustrating piano step. Players will not be attacked by zombies while the piano is playing music during the main quest, and they are no longer required to progress a round if they back out from the piano during the step. Previously, various quest items could go missing after loading a saved game. The update addresses this issue for the chalk drawings, sapling, and Lost Key items that could disappear after reloading the game. Endgame loadout changes Loadouts will now be assigned to each Endgame operator, including weapons, field acquisitions, and equipment. This change allows players more customization options, as they can now find and equip a unique exotic weapon for every operator and craft builds that are unique for each soldier. Players may optionally reset an operator's combat rating back to zero if they want to start fresh with a new operator build. This will not affect the operator's loadout, as weapons, equipment, and rarity are preserved. However, resetting the combat rating will discard Exotic and Nightmare level skills. Endgame Updated CR Loss Rules Previously, a death in Endgame meant a huge loss to an operator's combat rating. The developer is now lowering the peanlty for death in Endgame. If a player or squad is wiped, the total combat rating lost from earned skills and power upgrades is now capped at 15 CR. This means players can lose no more than 15 CR of progression per wipe. It's worth noting that the Nightmare and Exotic skills are still fully lost in death, and the player's loadout is still reset. Warzone's Avalon get map changes As previously announced, the battle royale version of Avalon has a few changes to the landscape. More water is drained from the map, creating more sandbar crossings on the coastal areas and adding additional landmasses to discover. There are also new ziplines and boats added to improve traversal options across coastal areas of the map. The map changes for Avalon can be seen in the image above. Warzone Ranked Play restrictions New restrictions are added to Warzone's Ranked Play Resurgence, as the mode adjusts to the ruleset used by the pro players. The following items have been restricted for Season 3: Akimbo Attachment Nembus Sticky Launcher Vulture Underbarrel Attachment Explosive Crossbow Attachment Bunker Buster Killstreak Deadeye Drone Killstreak Flashpoint Public Event Classified Weapon Public Event Warzone new movement mechanics and wingsuit fixes The advanced movement of Black Ops Royale's grappling hook and wall jump are available in standard battle royale and Resurgence modes for Season 3. However, the wall jump will remain disabled in the Gulag. The update also addresses players' complaints about control issues with the wingsuit when playing on keyboard and mouse. The developer says the wingsuit controls are updated to better match controller behavior. Additionally, a forward input now allows for smoother lift and sustained glide rather than immediate velocity loss, which the developer says should allow for more consistent traversal. Black Ops Royale weapon adjustments A few weapons have been added or removed to the loot pool for Black Ops Royale, including the following: The Swordfish A1 has been added with Scout and Widow builds The MXR-17 has been replaced with the Voyak KT-3 featuring Covert and Recon builds The M15 MOD 0 has been replaced with the MK35 ISR with Covert and Recon builds The Kogot-7 has been replaced with the VST with Burner and Stalker builds Previously, the Mantis archetype for the submachine gun class was not a popular pick in Black Ops Royale, as weapon upgrade kits added a large 2x scope to the SMGs. The Mantis build will now have a more appropriate optic for close-range fights with the addition of the FANG HoverPoint ELO attachment. Battle royale and Resurgence weapon tuning There was a small amount of weapon balancing for Warzone's standard battle royale and Resurgence modes. For assault rifles, the DS20 Mirage and the MRX-17 both received considerable increases to damage range to give players more variety when choosing guns for long-range combat. Additionally, the recently more popular Voyak KT-3 assault rifle is nerfed with a decrease to damage range and bullet velocity. It also has an 8% increase in horizontal recoil. The update also makes improvements to handling and mobility across the entire Black Ops 7 LMG class. The developer says this change is designed to "help them better compete with other weapon classes and feel less like a slow, restrictive choice." These LMG adjustments include improved sprinting and reload speeds. The firing while ADS movement-speed penalty is also reduced. Season 3 patch notes GLOBAL UI File Management UI Streamlined the layout of the “Manage Files” screen on console to display a single tab per game, listing all content in one place for easier navigation and a clearer overview of installed packages. Motion Sickness Reduction Preset Renamed the “Motion Reduction Preset” to better reflect its purpose. Updated the preset to include the Dot Grid overlay (Standard, 60% opacity, Regular), a setting shown to help reduce motion sickness symptoms for some players. Additional related settings can be adjusted for further customization. MULTIPLAYER Maps Sake Addressed some collision issues. Addressed certain instances of graphical corruption. Den Addressed some collision issues. Modes Overload Round time will now pause when either team has possession of the Overload device. Time To Beat overtime rules enabled by default. If the second round ends in a draw, the round will now end and enter Overtime rounds instead of Sudden Death. The first team to deliver the Overload device and score in the first Overtime round will set the time to beat and the round will end. In the second Overtime round, the other team must be the first to score within the time set in the first round to win. If the team that scored in the first Overtime round scores again in the second Overtime round, that team wins and the match will end. Safeguard If the robot is successfully escorted to the goal in the first round, the time limit in the second round will be adjusted to the time to beat. Increased round time limit to 5 minutes. General Playlist Updates Season 03 Moshpit (NEW) Moshpit of 6v6 respawn modes on Beacon, Plaza, and Gridlock, as well as Face Off modes on Abyss. Weapons Weapon Tuning Season 03 brings significant weapon changes, with the goal of boosting some of the weapons that have seen lower usage since launch. Some common buffs you’ll see are the addition of more Upper Torso multipliers for slower firing weapons and rebalancing of Rapid Fire on many burst weapons. A handful of improvements target recent post-launch attachments as well. On the flip side, the Swordfish A1 is being knocked down a peg. The M15 MOD 0, Dravec 45, and Kogot-7 are also among the weapons receiving adjustments to make room for new meta contenders. Assault Rifle Adjustments M15 MOD 0 The M15 MOD 0 is receiving recoil changes that will be felt at mid- and longer ranges. This will still be a well-rounded rifle, but now some builds may want an additional attachment to help with recoil. M15 MOD 0 Adjustments Increased View Kick strength and deviation. Increased Gun Kick strength and deviation. AK-27 The AK-27 was very strong early on in Black Ops 7, but after some time and adjustments, it's fallen off more than we’d like. It still has a solid TTK, so we’re easing back some range and handling to start. The Battle Scar Conversion also receives new hit location multipliers for some more upside to its slower fire rate. AK-27 Adjustments Aim Down Sight Time improved from 270ms to 260ms. Battle Scar Conversion Adjustments Now has 1.03x Neck and Upper Torso multipliers. MXR-17 The MXR-17 is a risk-reward weapon that heavily depends on headshots to be competitive. We are adding multipliers to the Neck and Upper Torso that will help players hit that faster TTK. Separately, the ANVL Conversion is getting an all-around boost to its firing mechanics that make it much more forgiving to manage. MXR-17 Adjustments Now has a 1.1x Neck and Upper Torso multiplier. (Does not apply to ANVL Conversion) ANVL Conversion Adjustments Final (slowest) Fire Rate improved from 333RPM to 400RPM. The number of bullets it takes to reach final Fire Rate increased from 18 to 25. Time it takes for Fire Rate to fully reset to its starting value improved from 370ms to 240ms. X9 Maverick As we mentioned at the top, many burst weapons are receiving adjustments to their Rapid Fire attachments. In the case of the X9 Maverick, the attachment will now reduce the time between bursts in addition to the fire rate within the burst. This makes the attachment very good for players who want a more forgiving experience at close and mid ranges. We are offsetting this with some more range, velocity, and light recoil penalties. Stretching the effectiveness of this Rapid Fire to long ranges will require attachment investment. X9 Maverick Attachment Adjustments Bolt Carrier Group (Rapid Fire) Now also improves Burst Fire Delay by 6%. Damage Range reduction increased from 10% to 20%. Muzzle Velocity reduction increased from 10% to 20%. Recoil penalties increased. DS20 Mirage DS20 Mirage Adjustments Aim Down Sight Time improved from 280ms to 270ms. Peacekeeper Mk1 The Peacekeeper MK1 has an aggressive damage and handling profile that is kept in check by its high recoil. Significantly less side-to-side bounce will have this weapon feeling more consistent and firmly like an Assault Rifle. Peacekeeper MK1 Adjustments Horizontal Recoil reduced. SUBMACHINE GUNS There are a handful of Submachine Guns that have never quite broken into the top end of weapons throughout the early seasons of Black Ops 7. We are giving these a heavier-handed push in Season 03. Changes are mostly to damage ranges and recoil, as well as handling and even damage. Carbon 57 The Carbon 57 is doing better after its last rework, but we still want to push it further up the ranks. It’s seeing an improved headshot potential in its Max Damage Range, as well as handling improvements. Carbon 57 Adjustments Aim Down Sight Time improved from 245ms to 240ms. Sprint to Fire Time improved from 180ms to 170ms. Tactical Sprint to Fire Time improved from 300ms to 290ms. Slide to Fire Time improved from 380ms to 370ms. Dive to Fire Time improved from 460ms to 450ms. MPC-25 The handling and TTK on the MPC-25 are both excellent, so we don’t want to go overboard on improvements here. For now we just have small range and recoil improvements to match the trajectory of the other SMGs. SHOTGUNS We’re generally good with the close-range performance of shotguns as they stand in Black Ops 7. As usual, this performance is mostly map dependent. We have some range adjustments for most of the shotguns that are meant to just give a small lift to the far ranges where TTK is slower. We also have a couple of targeted attachment updates. SG-12 We are reducing the power of the Prestige Attachment on the SG12, as the combination of fantastic handling, spread, and DPS was still too strong after the previous round of nerfs to the base weapon. MFS Pulse Fire Taclight (Prestige Attachment) Adjustment Decreased Fire Rate. Now has slightly more Tactical Stance Spread. Echo 12 Besides the aforementioned range changes, we are making improvements to the new Backlash Launcher kit on the Echo 12 that will help players time and hit their high damage shots. It’s worth noting that we purposefully don’t want this type of conversion to be super powerful, as that would lead to very frustrating lobbies. This one is just meant to offer a unique play experience, but ideally one that can be somewhat effective. Backlash Launcher Adjusmtments Reduced detonation delay after bounce from 200ms to 150ms. Explosion inner radius increased from 40 to 55. Explosion middle radius increased from 80 to 95. LMG Adjustments Sokol 545 As with many other slower-firing weapons, adding a Torso Multiplier to the Sokol 545 lets us nudge up the power level without fully stepping the weapon up into a new TTK bracket. We are keeping this to the default fire mode which has that lower rate of fire. Sokol 545 Adjustments Default fire mode now has a 1.1x Torso Multiplier (does not apply to faster alt fire or MFS 48-Dread Burst Mod Prestige Attachment). Firing ADS Movement Speed penalty reduced from 20% to 17.5%. MK.78 MK.78 Adjustments Firing ADS Movement Speed penalty reduced from 30% to 25%. MARKSMAN RIFLES SWORDFISH A1 The Swordfish A1 has been greatly overperforming throughout the last couple of weeks. It’s a good illustration of the design challenge with burst weapons, which live and die by the consistency of their one-burst kill. The Swordfish A1 is meant to be consistent by design, but slower and more methodical than its immediate counterpart, the M8A1. Currently the one-burst potential is far outweighing the tradeoff, so we’re reworking the damage and hit location multipliers. It will now require 4 bullets to kill, but that can be improved by landing Upper Torso shots or higher. Paired with some handling and attachment nerfs, this change lets us keep the recoil and burst fire delay as they are. Swordfish A1 Adjustments Headshot multiplier improved from 1.1x to 1.3x. Now has 1.2x Neck and Upper Torso multipliers. Aim Down Sight Time increased from 330ms to 340ms. Sprint To Fire Time increased from 230ms to 240ms. Tactical Sprint to Fire Time increased from 360ms to 370ms. Slide to Fire Time increased from 430ms to 440ms. Dive to Fire Time increased from 510ms to 520ms. Swordfish A1 Attachment Adjustments MFS Penta Burst Mod (Prestige Attachment) Vertical and Horizontal Recoil penalties increased from 30% to 35%. Modus-R Underbarrel (Mobile Recoil Foregrip) Slightly reduced Sprinting Movement Speed improvement. Adept Skiff Stock (Mobility Stock) Reduced Movement Speed improvement by 0.1m/s. Reduced Crouch Movement Speed improvement by 0.2m/s. Slightly reduced Sprinting Movement Speed improvement. Bosun Light Stock (ADS Movement Stock) Reduced ADS Movement Speed improvement by 0.1m/s. Q-Stubb Stock (Mobile Flinch Stock) Reduced ADS Movement Speed improvement by 0.1m/s. Bolt Carrier Group (Rapid Fire) Damage Range penalty increased from 8% to 20%. Muzzle Velocity penalty increased from 8% to 20%. Vertical and Horizontal Recoil penalties increased from 20% to 30%. M8A1 Rapid Fire on M8A1 receives a similar change to the X9 Maverick, making it more effective at improving TTK but with greater tradeoffs at range. M8A1 Attachment Adjustments Bolt Carrier Group (Rapid Fire) Now also improves Burst Fire Delay by 6%. Damage Range penalty increased from 10% to 20%. Muzzle Velocity penalty increased from 10% to 20%. M34 Novaline The M34 Novaline has the opposite problem to the Swordfish, in that it needs more consistency in its one-burst potential to make up for the longer burst delay and slower handling. We’re adjusting the Fire Rate within the burst on both the base weapon and the Rapid Fire attachment to help here. M34 Novaline Adjustments Fire Rate within the burst improved from 600RPM to 750RPM. M34 Novaline Attachment Adjustments Bolt Carrier Group (Rapid Fire) Fire Rate improvement within the burst increased from 10% to 20%. Damage Range penalty increased from 10% to 25%. Muzzle Velocity penalty increased from 10% to 30%. LAUNCHERS A.R.C. M1 The A.R.C. M1 Assault Frame is receiving a couple of adjustments to help its overall feel. Assault Frame Attachment Adjustment ADS Movement Speed improvement increased by 0.5m/s. Charge Time reduced from 0.5s to 0.45s. Field Upgrades Black Hat Addressed an issue where Tacticals would be unusable if the player used a manually-controlled Needle Drone while using the Black Hat. Morphine Injector Addressed an issue where falling into water while in a Last Stand state would cause players to pull out an unusable knife. Scorestreaks Rhino Addressed an issue where the Rhino would be destroyed upon landing if it landed on a Care Package. UI “Time To Beat” is now reflected in Safeguard UI after the first round. ENDGAME Loadout Updates Loadouts will be assigned to each Operator. Each Operator will have their own weapons and field acquisitions and equipment. This change provides more customization options, as players can now find and equip a unique Exotic Weapon for every Operator and craft builds that are unique for each fighter. Reset Combat Rating: Players may optionally reset an Operator's Combat Rating to 0 if they want to start fresh with a new Operator Build. This will not affect the Operator's Loadout, as Weapons, Equipment, and rarity are preserved. Note that resetting the Combat Rating will also discard Exotic and Nightmare skills. Reset Skill Track: Once you’ve fully progressed an Operator’s Combat Rating by unlocking all Power Upgrades and Skills, you may choose to reset one of your Skill Tracks. Resetting a Skill Track removes all associated Skills and reduces the Operator’s Combat Rating by 16 to reflect the lost power. Restore Tokens: With a Restore token in your inventory you can choose to activate the consumable item to restore all lost progress, including your Operator’s Skills and current loadout. Earn this through Operation Poison Pill, though there might be other opportunities to acquire this during the Season. Updated Loss Rules If a player or squad is wiped, the total Combat Rating lost from earned Skills and Power Upgrades is capped at 15 CR. This means players can lose no more than 15 CR of progression per wipe. Nightmare Skills and Exotic Skills are still fully lost, and the player’s Loadout is reset. Because these Skills contribute to total Combat Rating, their removal will also reduce CR accordingly. Exotic Weapons Two new Exotic Weapons added: Collateral: Full-auto assault rifle enhanced with ricochet rounds for widespread lethality. Affinity for Incendiary Rounds. Continuum: Bolt-action sniper rifle modified for aggression and potency. Affinity for Graviton Rounds. Bugs and Stability Addressed an issue where certain Camos were not being applied to weapons in Endgame. Addressed an issue where the Wraith Wing VTOL could be destroyed easily near the edge of the map. Addressed an issue where some enemies could enter the Ballistic Shell. Addressed an issue where ladders underwater could sometimes send players out of bounds. Various stability and performance fixes. CALL OF DUTY: WARZONE MAPS New Battle Royale Map Rotation (In-Season) Big Map rotation will be introduced during Season 03, featuring both Avalon and Verdansk. Maps will rotate on a 10-minute timer, similar to the existing Resurgence map rotation playlist. » Avalon « Gulag (In-Season) New Gulag features and layouts have been introduced to deliver a refreshed respawn experience with improved readability. Automatic doors now open based on player proximity and weapon damage. Select openings now feature non-breakable security glass to improve tactical visibility. Includes the following 3 variants: Server A lane-centric layout set within a high-security GUILD server room. Cryo An asymmetrical layout featuring mirrored side lanes flanking a central Cryo workspace. Meeting A cat-and-mouse arena centered around a modern meeting room. » Verdansk « Launch Pad Point-of-Interest The Launch Pad serves as the origin point for missile-based events that can target locations across the map. Located just south of Promenade along the shoreline, the area features a large-scale facility composed of multiple key structures, including the Control Tower, Hangar, Gantry, Depot, and Vats. Adjusted » Avalon « Terrain & Water Traversal As previously announced, new landmasses, sandbar crossings, ziplines, and boats have been added to improve traversal options across coastal areas and increase route variety. » Verdansk « Stadium: Activate Bay Gates The number of required breakers has been reduced from 10 to 5. We have simplified the completion path for this Easter Egg to improve accessibility and reduce friction during match flow, allowing more players to engage with the objective. MODES New Launch Squad Limited-Time Mode Players drop into a high-stakes battle at a rocket launch facility as incoming nukes threaten the map. Squads must collect launch codes through eliminations and special events in order to initiate the launch sequence. Activating the launch sequence begins a global countdown and marks the initiating player for all squads on the map. Additional launch codes can be collected to accelerate the countdown timer and secure victory more quickly. If the activating player is eliminated, the launch sequence is canceled and must be restarted. Players must successfully complete the launch before the countdown expires or risk total elimination. Returning Iron Gauntlet [Beta] (In-Season) Iron Gauntlet now supports Trios and has been moved to Avalon, maintaining a 150-player experience. Base health has been increased from 300 to 350 to better align time-to-kill with player feedback. Grappling Hook availability has been significantly increased, allowing for more frequent traversal opportunities throughout matches. The match economy has been heavily reduced, lowering overall cash availability and contract rewards to create more meaningful decision-making. Loot and gameplay restrictions have been updated to better align with the Ranked Play ruleset and competitive environment. Leaderboards have been integrated using a WSOW-style scoring system to support competitive play. Rewards are now based on placement within leaderboard brackets rather than match-by-match outcomes. Iron Gauntlet continues to evolve based on player feedback, with a stronger focus on competitive integrity, pacing, and high-stakes decision-making. The mode remains in Beta as we continue to iterate rapidly. PLAYLIST For information about upcoming Playlists, please check out the dedicated Warzone Trello Board . GENERAL Adjusted » Achievement Rewards « Win Streaks Black Ops Royale now has a dedicated Win Streak track. Win Streak rewards have been updated for Season 03. As a reminder, the prior rewards for Season 02 are no longer obtainable. Black Ops Royale 10 Consecutive Wins – Blossom Anew Static Camo 25 Consecutive Wins – Sakura Animated Camo Battle Royale 10 Consecutive Wins – Superstructure Static Camo 25 Consecutive Wins – Cosmic Web Animated Camo Resurgence 30 Consecutive Wins – Stardust Static Camo 50 Consecutive Wins – Astronomic Animated Camo » Private Match « Season 03 introduces improvements that enhance lobby control, post-match flow, and clarity for competitive and community play. Persistent Lobbies Private match lobbies will no longer automatically disband after a match ends. Players can remain in the same lobby to queue into subsequent matches together. Match Code Visibility Hosts can toggle the visibility of the private match join code at any time. Codes are hidden by default when a lobby is created to improve privacy and control. Squad Name Editing Players can update their squad name during private matches. Updated names are reflected across the entire lobby for all participants. Gamertag Obscuring Hosts can enable a setting that anonymizes player identities across the lobby. Randomized aliases will appear in both the killcam and kill feed. End-of-Match Scoreboard The scoreboard has been expanded to include more detailed stat tracking. A per-squad breakdown view allows players to inspect individual performance across teams. RANKED PLAY New Map Rotation Haven’s Hollow and Rebirth Island now rotate evenly, with each map having an equal chance of being selected per match. This change increases map variety while allowing us to experiment with expanded rotation systems for future Ranked Play seasons. Adjusted Restrictions The following items have been restricted in Ranked Play: Akimbo Attachment Nembus Sticky Launcher Vulture Underbarrel Attachment Explosive Crossbow Attachment Bunker Buster Killstreak Deadeye Drone Killstreak Flashpoint Public Event Classified Weapon Public Event MOVEMENT New Grappling Hook & Wall Jump Grappling Hooks and Wall Jump are now available in Battle Royale and Resurgence. Wall Jump remains disabled in the Gulag. Following strong player reception in limited-time modes, these mechanics have been expanded into core playlists to offer additional traversal options and improve skill expression. Adjusted Wingsuit Keyboard & Mouse Controls Wingsuit controls on keyboard and mouse have been updated to better match controller behavior. Forward input now allows for smoother lift and sustained glide rather than immediate velocity loss, enabling more consistent traversal. Wingsuit Close Surface Behavior When attempting to deploy a wingsuit too close to a surface, the parachute will now deploy instead. The on-screen prompt will update to “Deploy Parachute” in these situations to reflect the change. LOOT & ECONOMY Adjusted » Black Ops Royale « Exotic Weapons New exotic weapons will begin appearing in-season and will continue to expand in future updates. As we continue introducing new exotic weapons, our goal is to ensure they feel powerful and worthy of their classification. Exotics are intended to serve as best-in-class options within their respective weapon categories, offering distinct advantages and a stronger gameplay identity. While our initial offerings performed well, we are pushing future iterations to be more impactful and rewarding as high-value chase items. Ground Loot Weapons The Swordfish A1 has been added with Scout and Widow builds. The MXR-17 has been replaced with the Voyak KT-3 featuring Covert and Recon builds. The M15 MOD 0 has been replaced with the MK35 ISR with Covert and Recon builds. The Kogot-7 has been replaced with the VST with Burner and Stalker builds. Weapon Builds Mantis Submachine Gun builds now use the FANG HoverPoint ELO optic in place of the 2x optic. » Battle Royale & Resurgence « Loot The following items have been removed from the loot pool: Concussion Grenade Thermite Recon Drone Care Package The following items have been added: Grappling Hook Molotov Deployable Buy Station RC-XD Weapon Spawn Rates Light Machine Gun spawn rates have been reduced by 7%. Assault Rifle, Submachine Gun, and Sniper spawn rates have each been increased by 2%. Shotgun spawn rates have been increased by 1%. Weapon Pool The Shadow SK has been replaced by the VS Recon. Buy Station Smoke Bombardment has been added for $4000. Grappling Hook has been added for $500. High Value Loot Zones Verdansk Launch Pad Stadium Quarry Avalon High Value Loot Zones are now randomized each match. One POI from each pool will be selected per match: Trinity Stadium, Fort, or Casino Car Factory, Heliport, or Old Arsenal Winery, Colosseum, or Resorts Death Tax Adjustments have been made to how Cash is distributed upon elimination. Battle Royale Players now keep 50% of their Cash 40% is dropped on death 10% is removed via Death Tax Resurgence Players now keep 50% of their Cash 30% is dropped on death 20% is removed via Death Tax Previously, players would keep 50% and drop 50% of their Cash across both modes. Contract Multiplier Each contract completion now grants 20%, reduced from 30%. The maximum bonus has been reduced from 150% to 100%. PUBLIC EVENTS New » Battle Royale « Flashpoint A missile will launch from the Launchpad POI toward a random location within the safe zone. A countdown begins before impact, allowing players time to reposition. The strike eliminates all players within the target area. A temporary gas cloud forms after impact, preventing access for a limited time. Classified Weapon A single crate containing a powerful weapon will spawn once per match. The weapon grants Specialist and a persistent UAV effect while equipped. The holder’s position is revealed globally, with visibility increasing as eliminations are earned. The Classified Weapon public event is designed to create a high-impact opportunity that encourages engagements while maintaining counterplay through constant vulnerability. EQUIPMENT General EMP Grenade (In-Season) The EMP Grenade, which was originally announced for Season 03 launch, has been delayed and will be introduced later into the season. New Counters Concussion and Flashbang grenades now temporarily disable a wide range of placed equipment, including mines, drones, and deployables. Items affected include: C4 Point Turret Needle Drone Decoy Grenade Shock Charge Proximity Mine Claymore Echo Unit. This change expands tactical counterplay, giving players more tools to disrupt entrenched setups and respond to a wider range of scenarios. Altia Expands Beyond Automotive, Bringing Production-Ready Embedded UI Development to Medical, Consumer and Off-Highway Vehicle Markets

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., March 30, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Altia, long trusted by the world's leading automotive manufacturers to build the digital interfaces inside their vehicles, today announced that its latest platform release is designed to serve product teams far beyond the car industry. Altia's new tool chain brings the same industry-standard embedded UI development capabilities that have defined automotive displays for decades to medical devices, consumer electronics, home appliances in addition to vehicles spanning agriculture, construction and marine applications. From the Dashboard to the Doctor's Office — and Beyond User interfaces define how people experience products—whether in a vehicle, a home, a hospital or on the factory floor. Crimson Desert's New Patch Addresses One Of The Game's Biggest Annoyances

Developer Pearl Abyss continues to work diligently on its open-world action-adventure game Crimson Desert , with the South Korean studio releasing a new update for consoles and PC that addresses many of the game's issues. This includes reducing the stamina cost of certain movement abilities and decreasing loading times for fast travel, making it far less time-consuming than before. The studio took to X on March 29 to announce that patch version 1.01.00 would start rolling out on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S over the weekend. With it hitting just about every platform--except for the Epic Games and Mac App stores, as those are still in development--Pearl Abyss thoroughly detailed everything found within Crimson Desert's latest update . There are five new mounts--including boss mounts like the Icicle Edge Alpine Ibex and Rock Tusk Warthog, and legendary animals such as the Silver Fang and White Bear--to tame and ride, as well as improvements to the UX so you can do things like decide when to use keys on locked doors or cook meals at once instead of selecting ingredients individually. These are good QOL changes. Pywell is a huge map, one that can take up to two hours to cross in its entirety on horseback. There are fast travel-points, but activating them takes forever as you watch protagonist Kliff--or the two other playable characters, Damiane and Oongka--slowly saunter through an Abyss portal for at least 15 seconds as if they're strolling for a coffee. This update reduces the loading times for fast traveling (as well as reviving, which is another welcome change); however, Pearl Abyss didn't specify exactly how much quicker fast traveling is now, but in our testing, the loading time has been cut down to about 10 seconds. Speeding this action up will let you get back into the action faster and traverse more of Pywell without putting your controller down and watching a short walking sim film. Building the actuarial platform: inside Akur8’s product strategy

Actuarial teams have long relied on a patchwork of tools to manage pricing, reserving and regulatory reporting. Models are built in one system, rate assets stored in another and final decisions are often implemented through entirely separate processes. As insurers face increasing regulatory scrutiny and faster market cycles, that fragmented workflow is becoming harder to [...] The post Building the actuarial platform: inside Akur8’s product strategy appeared first on FinTech Global .

Gozzip Earns a 50 Proof of Usefulness Score by Building an Open Social Protocol That Turns Trust Graphs Into Storage Infrastructure

Gozzip turns your social graph into your storage network. Instead of relying on servers that decide what gets stored and served, the protocol creates bilateral storage pacts between peers within your Web of Trust. Data lives on your device and your trusted contacts' devices, verified by cryptographic challenge-response. The architecture formalizes how human communities have always preserved information: reciprocal obligation along trust edges, bounded by Dunbar layers, propagated through gossip. Built on Nostr primitives, bridges to ActivityPub and AT Protocol. The relay becomes a fallback, not a gatekeeper.

When AI turns software development inside-out: 170% throughput at 80% headcount

Many people have tried AI tools and walked away unimpressed. I get it — many demos promise magic, but in practice, the results can feel underwhelming. That’s why I want to write this not as a futurist prediction, but from lived experience. Over the past six months, I turned my engineering organization AI-first. I’ve shared before about the system behind that transformation — how we built the workflows, the metrics, and the guardrails. Today, I want to zoom out from the mechanics and talk about what I’ve learned from that experience — about where our profession is heading when software development itself turns inside out. Before I do, a couple of numbers to illustrate the scale of change. Subjectively, it feels that we are moving twice as fast. Objectively, here’s how the throughput evolved. Our total engineering team headcount floated from 36 at the beginning of the year to 30. So you get ~170% throughput on ~80% headcount, which matches the subjective ~2x. Zooming in, I picked a couple of our senior engineers who started the year in a more traditional software engineering process and ended it in the AI-first way. [The dips correspond to vacations and off-sites]: Note that our PRs are tied to JIRA tickets, and the average scope of those tickets didn’t change much through the year, so it’s as good a proxy as the data can give us. Qualitatively, looking at the business value, I actually see even higher uplift. One reason is that, as we started last year, our quality assurance (QA) team couldn’t keep up with our engineers' velocity. As the company leader, I wasn’t happy with the quality of some of our early releases. As we progressed through the year, and tooled our AI workflows to include writing unit and end-to-end tests, our coverage improved, the number of bugs dropped, users became fans, and the business value of engineering work multiplied. From big design to rapid experimentation Before AI, we spent weeks perfecting user flows before writing code. It made sense when change was expensive. Agile helped, but even then, testing multiple product ideas was too costly. Once we went AI-first, that trade-off disappeared. The cost of experimentation collapsed. An idea could go from whiteboard to a working prototype in a day: From idea to AI-generated product requirements document (PRD), to AI-generated tech spec, to AI-assisted implementation. It manifested itself in some amazing transformations. Our website—central to our acquisition and inbound demand—is now a product-scale system with hundreds of custom components, all designed, developed, and maintained directly in code by our creative director . Now, instead of validating with slides or static prototypes, we validate with working products. We test ideas live, learn faster, and release major updates every other month, a pace I couldn’t imagine three years ago. For example, Zen CLI was first written in Kotlin, but then we changed our mind and moved it to TypeScript with no release velocity lost. I nstead of mocking the features, our UX designers and project managers vibe code them. And when the release-time crunch hit everyone, they jumped into action and fixed dozens of small details with production-ready PRs to help us ship a great product. This included an overnight UI layout change. From coding to validation The next shift came where I least expected it: Validation. In a traditional org, most people write code and a smaller group tests it. But when AI generates much of the implementation, the leverage point moves. The real value lies in defining what “good” looks like — in making correctness explicit. We support 70-plus programming languages and countless integrations. Our QA engineers have evolved into system architects. They build AI agents that generate and maintain acceptance tests directly from requirements. And those agents are embedded into the codified AI workflows that allow us to achieve predictable engineering outcomes by using a system. This is what “shift left” really means. Validation isn’t a stand-alone function, it’s an integral part of the production process. If the agent can’t validate it’s work, it can’t be trusted to generate production code. For QA professionals, this is a moment of reinvention, where, with the right upskilling, their work becomes a critical enabler and accelerator of the AI adoption . Product managers, tech leads, and data engineers now share this responsibility as well, because defining correctness has become a cross-functional skill, not a role confined to QA. From diamond to double funnel For decades, software development followed a “diamond” shape: A small product team handed off to a large engineering team, then narrowed again through QA. Today, that geometry is flipping. Humans engage more deeply at the beginning — defining intent, exploring options — and again at the end, validating outcomes. The middle, where AI executes, is faster and narrower. It’s not just a new workflow; it’s a structural inversion. The model looks less like an assembly line and more like a control tower. Humans set direction and constraints, AI handles execution at speed, and people step back in to validate outcomes before decisions land in production. Engineering at a higher level of abstraction Every major leap in software raised our level of abstraction — from punch cards to high-level programming languages, from hardware to cloud. AI is the next step. Our engineers now work at a meta-layer: Orchestrating AI workflows, tuning agentic instructions and skills, and defining guardrails. The machines build; the humans decide what and why . Teams now routinely decide when AI output is safe to merge without review, how tightly to bound agent autonomy in production systems, and what signals actually indicate correctness at scale, decisions that simply didn’t exist before. And that’s the paradox of AI-first engineering — it feels less like coding, and more like thinking. Welcome to the new era of human intelligence, powered by AI. Andrew Filev is founder and CEO of Zencoder

Limbic-Cortex Hybrid Architecture: Where Biological Neuroscience Meets Deep Reinforcement Learning

The current era of artificial intelligence stands before a silent crisis of scale and performance. We are attempting to achieve ‘Intelligence’ by pouring in billions of parameters, millions of neural layers, and consuming megawatts of power. In the natural world, an agent with only a few grams of neural matter possesses adaptability, learning, and survival capabilities that far exceed the most complex artificial systems. This gap lies not in computational speed, but in fundamental architecture. The**Emotional-Agent** project was born not to race in parameter counts, but to seek a true balance between biological memory and decision-making speed.

The most innovative design companies of 2026

Following the rise of modern AI , design will never be the same . It’s no wonder that a majority of our 2026 Most Innovative Companies in design stood out by either leveraging or enabling the technology in new ways. That includes the Chinese company Unitree ’s backflipping humanoid robots, and BioRender’ s statistics-crunching visualization software that’s quickly become the de facto tool behind published research. Canva is using AI to smash several different pieces of software into a unified interface, while the digital product agency consultancy Metalab helped build the way we use AI products like Midjourney. Even BYD’s hair-flattening YangWang U9 Xtreme super car insists on flexing its AI prowess as it scans the road to literally leap over potholes. But on the other end of the spectrum, we’re acknowledging the countertrend of human experience. Netflix and Starbucks both make an appearance on our list for reinvesting in unique physical retail, while Nike has teased a wonderment of new technologies to keep people moving. Design will all get a lot messier in the age of AI before we see much clarity. In the meantime, grab yourself a piping hot cup of coffee in a plush seat while AI designs your next company’s pitch deck. 1. BYD For adapting EV designs to fit every market around the world. The world’s largest EV manufacturer, BYD , is demonstrating an aggressive, research-led approach to challenge the status quo of car design, and drive electrification across the world. The company has invested more than $13 billion in R&D over the past seven quarters, and it continues to demonstrate the fruits of investing in future technologies that improve the experience of its electric cars. In 2025, BYD debuted a 1,000kW charging standard that can fuel a car for 250 miles of range in just 5 minutes—the fastest charging standard on the market. And it’s since beaten that record . It debuted a 1,287 horsepower supercar called the YangWang U9 Xtreme that can read the road to leap over potholes. And on the opposite end of the spectrum, BYD has been focused on expanding its offerings for exports to other countries (no doubt, to claim market share outside of China’s fiercely competitive EV market). Rather than design one car for the world, it’s adapting EVs to fit into different driving cultures. So far, the plan seems to be working. Its exports grew 150% in 2025. Read more about BYD , honored as No. 16 on Fast Company’s list of the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies of 2026 . 2. Starbucks For bringing hospitality back to the hospitality industry As Starbucks stared down the barrel of six straight quarters where it was losing revenue, its new CEO Brian Niccol declared a daring new, old strategy: investing in its store design. Dubbed Back to Starbucks, the company is currently “uplifting” over a thousand of its stores to feel like warmer environments. It’s full of soft touches that will soon include a comfortable new chair and ceramic cup . Not so visibly, Starbucks is also adjusting the nitty gritty of how it handles its queue of digital orders. And it’s training baristas to engage more with customers. While the changes have been bumpy—and not without union pushback—Starbucks is amidst one of the most aggressive redesigns in business history. Since implementing updates, it finally broke a two-year sales slump in the U.S. Same store sales are up 4% domestically and globally as of Q1 2026, and it’s reduced service times to four minutes or less in 80% of its cafes. It looks like Niccol’s big plan might get people back to Starbucks, after all. Read more about Starbucks , honored as No. 18 on Fast Company’s list of the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies of 2026 . 3. Day Job For branding the brands that define the zeitgeist Behind some of 2025’s most viral products is the brand and digital design work of one, L.A.-based studio, Day Job . Day Job doesn’t just imagine a name or logo, it generates several different visual worlds. Each offers a different path for a company go grow into. With David bars —a low carb protein bar that’s captured the macronutrient zeitgeist—Day Job imagined the brand with all sorts of subtle allusions. There’s the strangely familiar name (David, like the marble sculpture by Michelangelo. But also maybe any other David you know). The straightforward serifed font (presented with the logical simplicity of a classic Apple ad). And the gold foil wrapper (tacitly channeling the golden ticket of a Wonka Bar). It all amalgamated into protein supplement history. Day Job also imagined the rapid-fire video podcast TBPN with the energy of a Formula One event—featuring a race car logo dump complete with reimagined retro references, like Paul Rand’s classic logo for IBM. In each case, Day Job wants the brand to capture the sensation of a product, to invent another world you can’t help but buy into. Read more about Day Job , No. 26 on Fast Company’s list of the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies of 2026 . 4. Unitree Robotics For turning humanoid robots from a novelty into a mainstream product Unitree could be the first company to make humanoid robots a true mainstream consumer product. A lot of the excitement is due to how effectively Unitree has taken over the mindshare of the internet. It’s offered an unending feed of seemingly impossible demonstrations of its hyper dexterous humanoid robots—which can run, flip, and even leap into the air to jump-kick a watermelon into pulp. But it’s also launched four different humanoid robots in the last two years, driving their price down from $90,000 a unit to a consumer-friendly $4,900 in the process. Its R1 Air is the cheapest walking humanoid robot in the world, already priced at a fourth of the lowest estimated price for Tesla’s Optimus robot. Standing 4 foot 2 inches tall and controlled with a smartphone, the R1 Air can’t autonomously clean your home yet, but it has the ability to walk on its hands with 26 joints and AI vision. Furthermore, the company has launched the first robot “app library” to support these products—which allows owners to download new moves directly onto its robots, ranging from The Twist to some of Bruce Lee’s kung fu. It’s all enough to position Unitree’s upcoming IPO as one of the most anticipated across China this year. Read more about Unitree Robotics , No. 39 on Fast Company’s list of the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies of 2026 . 5. Canva For consolidating design into a single workflow There is no worse work than redoing work. To create something to have to recreate it in a slightly different way—hopping from one app to another to do so. And that’s been a large part of a graphic designer or marketer’s task since the rise of digital design. In 2025, Canva launched its biggest redesign in its 13-year history to address this pain point. In an update dubbed the Visual Suite 2.0, Canva consolidated its many disparate design templates—from Instagram posts to t-shirt slogans—into a single canvas. All you do is design something once, like your slide deck around a new product, and with a button press, you can transform it into another piece of media—like a social post, or a website, or a poster. You never have to change the window you’re viewing, or hop to another app. As an added bonus, a team of colleagues can hop into that canvas together at the same time, co-designing and leaving notes as they go. Truthfully, the new Visual Suite is but one of of Canva’s quietly AI-powered tools that it’s launched in the last year, including spreadsheets and a vibe coding tool. No wonder the company continued to grow at an increasing pace in 2025—breaking $3.5 billion in revenue which saw 30% growth, doubling its speed of enterprise customer acquisition, and adding 85 million new users. 6. Veritiv For implementing greener packaging materials at scale The endless cadence of products arriving on our doorsteps come with more than just a monetary cost: it also takes a huge toll on the environmental. But Veritiv , a packaging and distribution company that serves companies including Amazon, Fedex, Disney, Unilever, and ULTA Beauty, has focused its business on reducing the waste of its own packaging. At its newly expanded, Silicon Valley-based Sustainable Design Lab, Veritiv keeps a library of hundreds of cutting edge sustainable materials from around the world, which it tests, validates, and works into its own customer packaging. The company is an accelerator for promising packaging solutions developed around the globe. That means that Veritiv will wrap something cold in an experimental insulated pack before tossing it into a high temperature room, or simulate the tumbles and other hits a package suffers on its way to your door. This is essential work, as much of the green materials industry is nascent, and often doesn’t live up to its own claims. Veritiv has already gotten clients like Amazon to trade polypropylene bags for clear Vela paper, and others to swap bubble wrap for honeycomb FlexiHex paper sleeves (the latter of which has added up to more than 2.5 million shipments over the last two years). And in the next year, it plans to introduce new offerings like seaweed-based films and cellulose-based packing peanuts, wiping microplastics out of the supply chain. Veritiv’s motivation is two-fold: It’s looking to reduce its own footprint within the vast global trade market. But secondly, greener packaging is also a means to save its clients across the U.S. money, as 15 states either have introduce, or are introducing, extra disposal fees on plastics like bubble wraps and pill packs—with fees up to 30x higher on styrofoams than paper products. By adopting greener packaging, they can actually lower overhead right alongside their carbon footprint. Fueled by an aggressive expansion plan, which includes half a dozen acquisitions a year, Veritiv added $3 billion in revenue over the past two years. It’s currently the largest specialty packaging company in the U.S. 7. Metalab For becoming the go-to design firm for the UX of AI products Metalab has quickly become a go-to design partner for AI companies to articulate the UX and brand of their products. The company partnered with Midjourney, Suno, Pika, Crusoe, and Windsurf in just over a year’s time—defining the experience behind companies worth more than $10 billion and hundreds of millions of users in aggregate. For the generative media platform Midjourney, Metalab moved the company off of Discord into its own dedicated web interface—upgrading the chat-based UI into a rich, multimedia-heavy, collaborative studio (which is estimated to help double Midjourney’s 2025 revenues to $500 million). At Suno, an AI music generator, Metalab helped design everything from the sunburned, Y2K brand to the interface that feels like the lovechild of Apple Music and TikTok . These contributions helped the company’s app to launch at #11 in the App Store (with 25 million people having created a song since). At the data center company Crusoe, a rebranding project—anchoring the entire business in a sustainable vision—preceded a $1.375 billion fundraise on a $10 billion valuation. Metalab also took early steps in modernizing journalism for the AI era as it teamed up with Politico , CNN, and The Athletic to build out new AI tools. Perhaps the largest of such projects was for The Atlantic , for which it built a custom Companion interface to search 167 years of the publication’s articles. 8. Netflix For creating a house party for the fans of its hit shows Netflix has long resisted the idea of opening its own movie theaters. And maybe for good reason. While movie theaters are struggling, Netflix’s streaming service grew revenue 18% in 2025. It’s why Netflix House , the company’s first permanent retail concept, is almost anything but a movie theater. Following the popups it’s hosted since 2020, in which millions of people attended projects like a Bridgerton ball, the first two locations opened in Pennsylvania and Texas in late 2025. Clocking in at over 100,000 square-feet apiece, they are where Netflix shows come to life in massive, immersive environments. They invite you to step into the maudlin boarding school of Wednesday , hunt for mysteries out of Stranger Things , and break out of jail alongside One Piece ’s band of pirates—through hand crafted set pieces that Netflix plans to ship across the country. This is all on top of Is It Cake? minigolf, a Netflix Bites restaurant, a shop, and, yes, precisely one movie theater that’s free to attend for community events. The vibe is a modern cineplex, albeit with a lot more focus on live interaction, and set pieces that are meant to be swapped out as quickly as Netflix shows go viral. “We want it to be a place that’s not just like a special occasion destination,” says Lee. “We want you to come back over and over again.” As Gen Z and millennials chase down real experiences to counter screen time, events ranging from concerts to experimental theater are growing 21% a year since 2019, according to the research firm Habo. Early reports on Netflix House looked similarly positive. Netflix welcomed over 100,000 visitors to each of its locations in their first two weeks of operation. A third location planned for Las Vegas will open in 2027 as the company validates and refines the idea for exponential expansion. 9. BioRender For becoming the de facto way to visualize scientific research Data analysis and visualization is among the most painful parts of scientific research, and BioRender has quickly ascended to be the platform of choice to do so. You can drop in a spreadsheet and instantly have it analyzed and rendered in many different ways, sidestepping the flow between data sets and standalone data viz tools. That impact has been seismic on research in both public institutions and 250 global biotech and pharma companies. Nineteen percent of all biology papers published in Nature last year used diagrams from the software, with half a million researchers using it each month around the globe as its user base grew 25%. In 2025, BioRender supercharged its tools with the biggest updates in the platform’s history: an airier, more pleasant interface, backed by new AI that’s capable of automatically spotting variables in a data set to analyze and produce graphs from plain language prompts. The company also consolidated files into enterprise workspaces, allowing an organization to share brand templates when presenting research. Ultimately, BioRender is something like Canva for scientific visualization, where you can even bring in 3D protein maps with a tap. 10. Nike For completely redefining performance garments, again For the past several years, Nike has been fairly criticized for forgetting the innovation that made it the leading performance footwear company in the world. But working under new leadership and restructured innovation teams, Nike has shared not one, but several new visions for footwear that push the boundaries of what sneakers can do. In early 2025, it launched a collaboration with Hyperice, turning circulation-promoting leggings into a boot that can be worn on a walk to help warm up and recovery. Then later in the year at an Innovation Summit hosted in Beaverton, OR, it debuted a suite of new genre-bending products coming to market in 2026: A robotic achilles tendon called Project Amplify , that imagines an exoskeleton in a shoe. A neurologically-stimulating Nike Mind shoe that increases the same alpha waves in your brain activated by calming, meditative practice. And a Project Milano jacket debuting at the Winter Olympics, which instead of down insulation, inflates with air to keep you warm—until you get too hot, and with a button press, you can deflate it. Nike revenue had only grown 1% year over year, as of December 2025. But consumer sentiment around Nike skyrocketed around the announcement of these Innovation Summit products—reaching a 97% positive rating over the following 24 hours, garnering 850 million views across traditional and social media in the U.S. in the month following. Beep App Announces 210 Students Graduate From UI UX Course

Pune based EdTech startup Beep App has announced the successful graduation of 210 students from its Advanced Certification in UI/UX Design program, marking the first graduation ceremony under the Beep School of Design initiative. The program brought together students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, many of whom entered with little to no prior design experience. Over the course of the program, participants progressed from foundational concepts to building complete, industry-ready portfolios, equipping them with the skills required to pursue careers in UI/UX design. Designed as a structured and immersive learning experience, the course spans over five months, including four months of guided learning followed by a dedicated assessment and portfolio development phase . The curriculum is divided into UX and UI tracks, covering key areas such as design thinking, user research, ideation, prototyping, design systems, interface patterns, testing and final project execution. A strong emphasis is placed on practical exposure, with students working on real client projects and industry briefs instead of hypothetical assignments. The program also integrates widely used tools and platforms including Figma, FigJam, Figma Make AI, Framer, Lovable, Notion, Hotjar, Google Analytics, Behance, Dribbble and ChatGPT, enabling learners to build familiarity with real-world workflows. Mentorship remains a central pillar of the program, with students receiving 1:1 guidance from experienced designers working at leading technology and product companies. This hands-on mentorship model is designed to provide continuous feedback, improve problem-solving skills and help students refine their portfolios to meet industry expectations. As an outcome-driven program, Beep has also facilitated placements for several students, with an average package ranging between INR 6–8 LPA, further reinforcing its focus on career readiness and tangible outcomes. Commenting on the milestone, Saurabh Mangrulkar, Founder and CEO of Beep App, said, “When we started this program, the goal was simple. We wanted students to move beyond just learning concepts and actually build work that they could be proud of. Seeing 210 students reach that point, where they are confident in their skills and ready to step into the industry, is what this is really about. For us, it is not just about completing a course, it is about helping people change how they see their own potential and what they can go on to build.” The graduation ceremony brought together students in a moment of celebration and happiness as they presented their work and reflected on their learning journey over the past few months. The initiative points to Beep App’s emphasis on outcome-driven learning that helps address skill gaps and remains relevant to industry needs. Founded in Pune in 2021, Beep App has steadily expanded its presence within the student ecosystem and today connects millions of young users with career opportunities, mentorship and hiring platforms. The company reports serving more than 6.5 million users, while partnering with over 1,500 colleges and working with more than 7,800 hiring companies across India.

How to Build a Hybrid Passkey Strategy in Symfony 7.4: Navigating Beyond the Passwordless Fortress

In the first part of this series, we explored the “holy grail” of modern authentication: a 100% passwordless application. We stripped away passwords, hashes, and reset emails, replacing them with the cryptographic elegance of the WebAuthn API. Today, we’re going to create a single, intelligent login form that automatically detects if a user has a Passkey, triggers biometrics if available, but gracefully falls back to a traditional password when necessary.

WhatsApp’s New iOS Profile Interface: Here’s How to Use It

Interface Evolution 2026: Analyzing the Technical Architecture and UX Shift of WhatsApp’s New iOS Profiles Messaging market dynamics in early 2026 confirm a pivotal transition toward high-density interface design as WhatsApp formalizes its latest profile overhaul for the iOS ecosystem. Attributing this shift to a "User-First" structural realignment, developers at Meta highlight how the new layout prioritizes actionable contact nodes over traditional static text. Structural disruption of the legacy "About" page currently allows for the integration of larger profile imagery and synchronized status updates within a single interactive pane. Navigating this high-visibility communication window now requires the adoption of "Dynamic Bios" alongside enhanced cryptographic privacy toggles to ensure data sovereignty. Identifying these specific UI triggers operates as the primary mandate for 2026 software integrity. Technical observations indicate that the 2026 profile intensity mirrors the aesthetic standards of premium social networks, yet the current iOS variant displays unique haptic feedback loops. Occurring when users interact with the new "Quick-Action" bar, these sensory spikes signal a departure from the segmented navigation of previous iterations. Furthermore, the induced visual clarity, termed "Material-Fluency", indicates that readability will likely reach peak optimization in several dark-mode configurations. Completing this high-alert feature cluster are cloud-synced profile covers and surging API responsiveness, which, unlike seasonal updates, will persist throughout the upcoming fiscal cycle. Immediate firmware synchronization is mandatory for users seeking to utilize the advanced contact-grouping logic. Server-side A/B testing is reshaping how teams manage regional beta programs versus global rollouts. Decoupling the two lets developers deploy features faster, cutting the latency between testing and public release. Glassmorphism’s effectiveness as a defining visual language in iOS 19 is tightening the feedback loop between system aesthetics and third-party apps. For developers targeting iPhone users, aligning with this language is the difference between feeling native and feeling foreign. Two capabilities will define success in the back half of the year: Real-Time Presence indicators and granular permission management. Together, they reposition messaging from a background habit into a genuine productivity layer. Reversing years of interface stagnation means holding the line on typography and spacing. Apps that cut corners here are increasingly visible to users who have grown accustomed to better. Meta's messaging portfolio is being valued against this backdrop. Platforms that survive will be those prioritizing accuracy over novelty and early iteration over late polish. The 2026 market outlook is quite clear. Legacy apps that do not adapt their architecture face a narrowing competitive window. User experience is not a soft metric. It is the deciding factor in platform longevity.
